Happy Holidays, everyone!
Moses & Epic here to unleash the 2nd vocal remix from the larger effort that we’ve named Mixtape Insight. Consider it a gift from us to you for whatever holiday it is you’re celebrating this time of year. Suitably, we’re following up our Deadmau5 vocal remix with an artist that Mr. Zimmerman is partially responsible for: Skrillex. There are a lot of great Skrillex tracks out there and we’ve sifted through every one, including B-sides and remixes, to land on the basis of the track we’re releasing today. He calls it “Cat Rats” and the reason we chose it is that it’s the one Skrillex track that we felt we could add the most to. The majority of his tracks are already intense and full, so it was hard to imagine vocals on many of them. Cat Rats is especially welcoming because of it’s definite structure that seems to intrinsically imply a verse/chorus/bridge structure. The clincher was the undeniable disco hook that will get you dancing before you can say “DiscoStep” ten times fast.
