It’s that time of year again, and No-Shave November aka “Movember” is upon us.  I (EP1C) was approached to participate this year for charity to help raise funds for men’s prostate cancer research, and of course I jumped on board.  The company behind this charity drive is the AdMeTech Foundation, who helped develop the Mammogram, used for detecting breast cancer in women.  They are now raising funds to develop the same sort of advance detection technology for men’s prostate cancer, which has now surpassed breast cancer as a killer (1 in 6 men vs. 1 in 8 women) and is also now the second most lethal disease for men, after lung cancer.  Prostate cancer literally kills a man every 16 minutes, but IS curable when detected early which is why getting the funding to develop this “Manogram” technology is so important!

So it’s really simple with these sort of things, strength in numbers!  If all of our fans and friends donated just $1, we’d raise well over $15,000.  So please, if there is a guy you love- your dad, brother, boyfriend, husband, friend or even yourself, NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL to donate to this cause.  The bonus is that you get to see me become a bushy mountain-man in the process.  😉
