We love all forms of EDM: House, Techno, Dubstep and all things in between, but Trance is a genre that we haven’t yet shown our appreciation for through our remixes, so let’s correct that, shall we? One of our favorite Trance artists of all time are London based Above & Beyond who have been at it for more than a decade. They just released a brilliant new album last year called “Group Therapy” and we’ve been inspired to put the NU.F.O. spin on the single “You Got to Go” which we’re releasing today! 😀

We’ve taken the vocals from this beautiful track and crafted completely original sounds to support them, as you’ve heard us do before with Kesha and Lupe Fiasco. It’s incredibly challenging to completely rewrite a song within the confines of pre-written vocals, but we love a challenge. Especially when the vocals are as powerful as Zoë Johnston’s are on this track.

As usual, this remix is free to download. All that we ask in return is that you share it/us with your friends. There are Facebook and Twitter buttons right below this post, it’ll just take a quick sec 😉

Major site updates!  We’ve revamped the side-bar to include a featured release section and a dedicated downloads page.  The downloads just got ALL pumped full of goodies.  In addition to the debut album and remixes, it now has instrumental mixes of all the album tracks as well as remix stem packs for everything we’ve put out so far.  All of you aspiring DJ’s/Producers that have been hitting us up for those, rejoice- you can now remix our music and vocals cleanly and in total control.  We offer the stems for use freely, just please give us credit if you do and hit us up, we love hearing what you come up with!

Moving forward, in addition to the track releases, we’ll keep the page updated with the appropriate instrumentals and stems as we drop new tuneage.  We also plan to include some wallpapers, phone screen savers and more, so keep checking back.

Now that the stems are all up, we will be announcing the Midnight Insight remix contest soon!

Some of you may have heard the preview of this track, our remix of Above & Beyond’s “You Got to Go”, when it was up briefly on Beatportal.  TOMORROW NIGHT the official debut of the full final mix will happen on FUSiON EDM Radio.  It’s free to tune in and listen right on the interwebz.  We don’t know when it will be dropped during the show, so be sure to tune in when it starts at 9PM!

We are truly stoked to let you know that for the first time ever, we will be pressing actual CD’s. 🙂 This is a special limited edition EP that will not be for sale, but specifically for special distribution at both the February 3rd/Roseland Ballroom and February 4th/Terminal 5 Skrillex tour dates in NYC. There will only be 1000 made and they will never be pressed again. For those of you who want one of these limited EP’s but won’t be at either of those shows, we are giving 10 of you the opportunity to win a signed copy sent to your door.

The rules are simple and anyone has a shot. The internet is an amazing tool for finding new music. Most of us have a few go-to blogs or sites that we use to find new tunes. They may be legal, or they may not be…but since we’re giving out all our music for free, it doesn’t matter either way. So we had to take this opportunity to thank you guys…we just found out that our Fire Fight vocal remix of Skrillex was number one on the PureVolume House charts for the week, even over Skrillex himself!  Our minds = blown.  We seem to wind up thanking you all a lot, as the show of love and support has been overwhelming.  But we mean it when we say it no matter how many times we do and that’s important for us to express to you; we are truly thankful for all the great new friends we’ve made already and how much of a blast you all are to talk to and make music for.  We didn’t put ourselves up on the top of that chart, you guys did.  So thank you, tremendously.  🙂
